First of all, just keep at it. As you get going more and more will come up and it will all fall into place.
You talked about going to a church dinner this week, general response from the group was strong. I'm sure you will see those same family type dynamics in that group as you would in a small group of friends or a family and it will add a different look to the photos.Try not to limit your self right now, just keep as many burners going as you have ideas for different aspects of this idea. Keep shooting pasta night, if nothing else it is really good practice and you never know you might end up with an image that you love.
Work on a definition of Family and what about that definition is important to you. Once you find that it'll be more clear what your work needs to do (none of us can tell you your definition)
We talked about this as not being a documentary project that it had something more cerebral going on, more of a social experiment - you as visual anthropologist.
Margot is going to try and set you up with her brother's family.
You're going to work on making a flyer (I'll hang some up at lesley if you want). Also on figuring out a zip car.
